Bernie Sanders WILL Stand With Conyers
As many of you know, I have grave reservations about the wisdom of this action, however I thought you'd all like to know that Sanders has changed his mind and will contest the validity of Ohio. I just heard it on VPR, and their reporting is accurate.

5. The longest serving independent house member.
He's a socialist in thinking, and this is one of the reasons Thom Hartmann refers to his state as the "People's Republic of Vermont". He's very well respected.

I love that clip of Bernie handing Alan Greenspan his ass. It was great!

He still may not be the Senator we seek, but, I respect his voice being heard!

Sanders for Congress
Published October 28, 2004

"The fire still burns within maverick Congressman Bernie Sanders even after 14 years representing Vermont in the U.S. House. His fight for the little guy continues with as much fervor as the day in 1981 when he upset the order and became Burlington's first socialist mayor.

In much of Vermont, Sanders hits the right buttons, a straight-shooting independent and champion of the forgotten people -- seniors, veterans, farmers.

Sanders worries about the collapse of the middle class and the widening gap between rich and poor. He stands up for constitutional rights and affordable health care. He rails against the outsourcing of good-paying jobs overseas, the consolidation of media and the inequity of having fixed-income seniors who can't afford prescription drugs.

As the only Independent in the House, Sanders brings a unique perspective to Washington, and it is one that merits attention. Over time, he has broadened alliances with representatives of the Republican and Democratic parties and he has made a strong team with Vermont's senators, Patrick Leahy and Jim Jeffords."

4. wow...
Go Bernie!! If he's doing it...I bet lots are also...this is snowballing...speaking truth to power - that's what it's all about.. The more I thought about Kerry's email today - I think it was the timing that was important - from his spot - he could only fight to have it overturned which it can't - he'd never seem legit if he took a stand with Conyers so others will...

13. Very good articles by him
He got it right. Nothing can stop a full congressional investigation to this matter nothing can be classified so people wont know. No elected representative will allow classified to be use to prevent evident from being reveal. In the end bye bye Bush.
