I'm putting all Democratic Senators on notice

If you don't stand up today in support of Rep. Conyers, Senator Boxer, et al...you've lost my support. period.
Furthermore, instead of wasting all this time on an Anti-Gay marriage amendment, I believe that today should be the start of drafting an amendment to provide American citizens with the right to vote-at a federal level, not on an individual state by state basis (yeah, like we're doing with our Iraq "democracy").

I apologize.
My emotions are running high today, I guess I should think more before I post. I so want to have democracy survive and have felt so discouraged up until now....I'll take that back and will keep quiet.
I am firmly in favor of voting reform and obviously am not informed enough to discuss it.
That being said, Go Senator Boxer et al!
