3. I wish Grijalva was my congressman
He's over in the next district. I'm gonna write him a thank you note anyway.

4. I can't believe they left Senator Boxer hanging like that.
After all that talk about multiple Senators, what a shame.

10. I think the Dem Senators made a deal
That deal was that only one of them would speak up, because that's all it took to get the debate going. They knew it wasn't going to change the outcome of the election. So they decided to preserve what minimal influence they have by keeping out of it.

13. yeah, they sure let us down.
Many senators didn't even get up to speak...including our own Russ Feingold. I am so unhappy with him.

Also, it really saddens me that so few House members voted "aye", and especially that the African-American representatives practically stood alone, once again. Just makes me sick.

11. Clay...
Is that Wm. Lacy Clay of MO?

I've been really happy with him overall as my Congressman :D

Also good to see Lane Evans of western IL, if that's the Evans listed. Always liked him when I lived in his district.

15. Sure there are 31, but...
How could so many stand up and rant and rave about the election, and then vote no? Did they think that people would focus on the speech and not the vote?
