The election is over, and now we must focus on single issues (Social Security, Roe v. Wade, electroal reform, the next war, etc.), the media and 2006.
Third parties are not the answer. This is a two-party country and this is YOUR Democratic party (or are you a Republican?).
Time to unify and time to get to work.

1 issue we can unite on ....... Let us stop taking shit from the repugs, the media, and our own party.
As I have posted before it is like the beaten wife syndrome ......"I know he loves me, I have to go back to him."
NO! It is time to stand up to these bastards and take them on. It was a shameful action by those senators (John Kerry #1) not to stand as one with Sen. Boxer, and call out the 100% proven facts in Rep. Conyers document. Those were not some irregularities but a pattern of fraud geared to keeping bush as President by negating the idea that every Americans vote should count.
Everyone who did not stand w/ Sen. Boxer should be held accountable.
That was the moment we could have taken back America. We had the press and we had the spot light and we had the issue but no we have to play nice so as to get along and make a broken system work?
And who does bush party with over Xmas? Nathan Sproul election fixer for higher.

Sorry, but the opinion of the House and Senate Democrats was nearly unanimous. They don't work for me, and don't need or want my vote.
It seems that they rolled over for the Republicans in order to save political capital for when they roll over again on Social Security, endless war, and further media consolidation.
I will continue to use them, if possible, to stem the tide of Republican evil, but I will not follow them for the sake of nebulous "unity."
I'm going to have to try to *lead* them, as I believe we should have been doing all along.

Now, it's up to us to claim control. We have allies, we have friends in high places, we just need to learn how to manage them.
First and foremost is the leadership from us to stick to the plan: The Election Was Stolen. Plain and simple, we must fix the process. Only then can begin to have faith in our elected representatives and that process that put them in office.
The battle field before us is tremendous, and we need a united army of front-line fighters, information seekers, and support troops in order for us to overcome. DU is the camp wherein we organize.
Unity and organization is the key to success, and we dare not frag our friends, dessert our fellows, or hide behind a bush. We can do this, we simply must.

...the best possible reason to stick with the party, and it almost persuades me.
There ain't no democracy without verifiable elections, and never will be. We need unity, all right, but not necessarily along party lines. Unity on the most important issues is paramount.

Yes, we can all work from diverse backgrounds and personal alliances.
What we do need is total agreement on the issues. Ya know, come to think of it, we really don't have a top ten, or do we?
I do know: #1... The Election Was Stolen!
Looking back over the last few weeks here, I see that our enemies knew we would make history on Jan. 6. They came at us, right here on this board, trying to divide and dissuade us from success. They failed, we won. The Silence Was Broken: the Election Was Stolen.
DU, you won this battle. You are a success. You are a winning team. Let's keep winning. We've tasted the bitter pill of defeat; The taste of victory is oh so much sweeter, ain't it?
