A Bush Voter was complaining about health care coverage |
|
On network news last night, someone who admired and voted for Bush was complaining about how expensive it was for health insurance. I suppose next they will complain about the war in Iraq.

1. They blew their chance! |
|
Could have had a change that would have pushed a healt care agenda but they wanted moral-less values instead.

10. I hope you call him on it, Rev. PP! |
|
You should just hammer that into his head - 'You voted for him! You voted for him!'
Or maybe I'm not being very courteous.

Then when they get old, they'll wonder why no one did anything keep social security going.
Unbelievable dumbasses.

Those are the consequences he (and we) has to suffer for voting for Bush*.

8. Unfortunately, they don't see it that way, |
|
they still fall for the corporate media's line and don't see the connection between what they voted for and what the consequences of that vote are. It's easier to blame Clinton and liberals for everything, even though neither has been in any kind of real power for several years.

9. Every one of them should be reminded. |
|
This is what they voted for. For some reason, many don't make this connection. :wtf:
Every time they complain about Iraq, health care, possible social security cuts, tax reform that favors the rich, underfunded education, etc...they need to be reminded.
(rant) How could so many people be so gullible as to vote against their own, their children's, and our country's, self interest? I bet they'd feel differently if their children were to be chosen first for service in Iraq.
Incredibly I heard a woman on Stephanie Miller's program this morning who's raising two teenage daughters on SSD call to defend *. Even called him a statesman. :wtf:
Somehow people need to be de-programmed.
Thanks. I feel better now.

11. I tell them thats wonderful |

This what you wanted when you voted for this idiot.
Think it's bad now? The day after the election, when he was announcing his new round of business tax cuts, he said it was revenue neutral, and would pay for it by eliminating the employers deduction for employee health insurance.

15. No deduction for employers' contribution for health insurance? |
|
So employers no longer have any reason whatsoever to provide health insurance their employees can afford. Watch for employees' premiums to go up to the $500/mo per person (not per family) I have to pay to get a rather crappy group HMO policy from an association. Watch for the percentage of unemployed Americans to shoot up to 60% by 2008.
