Help design a Black Thursday Store Window-ideas?
I've close my business of 17 years to devote my time to progressive causes like election reform, media reform and building the progressive wing of the Ohio Dem Party. I have a prime location on High Street in the Short North arts District with big windows for a display. I would love to hear suggestions for a Black Thursday window display.

Actually, if you want to get some great ideas, have a college or hs art class submit designs for political art -- they will be able to use the size and maybe come up with some three-dimensional ideas. The winning idea (as judged by you or a panel) gets to actually build their project. Maybe you could come up with $75 or so for materials or a prize. And be sure to credit them in the window.

6. In addition to suggestions above, why not
make a small (cardboard) model of the front of the White House, and make it BLACK? (Get the pic from the official White House website, paste it on cardboard, and paint it black.) Even better would be a black Capitol rotunda and a black Washington Monument to go with it.

And of course you could scatter some small, American-flag-draped coffins around in the foreground of the window.

Here is the description from the website.

can be printed and assembled into extremely cool looking
posters up to 20 meters in size.
