You Think Kerry Isn't Already Getting Under The Repukes Skin?
They are getting pissed over Rummy now. They are worried a war damn criminal. And they say Kerry and Democrats embarrass themselves. These bastards need to look in the mirror to see who is the sure embarrassment and it sure as hell isn't Kerry and the Democrats.

http://www.michnews.com/artman/publish/article_6507.shtml

Are these people for real?

It's bad enough we had to watch Kerry embarrass himself on his world tour of stupidity, visiting America's enemies and taking photo ops like this. But- we shouldn't have to stand for this rubbish.

If there is one thing that irks HundredPercenter, it is a damn online petition calling for the resignation of Secretary Rumsfeld. HP appreciates Rummy's candor and seriousness, regarding the war on terror.

Sadly, the Democratic party is still playing politics with the war and have yet come to grips with the stark reality of being a political party on a rapid sloping decline in America.

Being a staunch supporter of a multi-party system, I find it reprehensible that the Democrats have made such a mockery of themselves and have turned a once proud organization into a clique for communists, atheists, placaters and everything else that is wrong with America today.

11. I have plenty to do
including pointing out that Kerry is fighting for us and is a great leader that will do whatever it takes to bring * and his cronies down regardless of what the hell all the damn naysayers have to say. I have plenty to do in supporting a man that deserves respect not a bunch of nasty ass negitive attacks from armchair quarterbacks. So don't you have anything better to do besides try to attack people for supporting a real leader? Or is that to much to ask from a armchair quarterback?

THIS is how they think? What really bothers me is that there are actually people who "think" this way.

31. I see nothing wrong with this post being here. Kerry was a threat
to the neocons in the election and they took him out. And he's not backing down. This man has been to war and these frat lilly white palm boys haven't been there. They just get their rocks off sending our own kids to wars so they can belittle them later if they oppose them and their corporate war agenda.

Go Kerry!!!

and stuff.

rummy's candor?

one day, real life is going to bite these morons in the a**

I'd love to hear what hp has to say when lord bush and the gang come for his sons/nephews/grandsons/brothers/himself to go fight for pat roberston and haliburton.

Wonder why mr. killing is good isn't out there on the front lines in bush's bloodbath in Iraq instead of sitting on his hypocritical a** spreading his unAmerican delusions. Why, hp, aren't you putting your $$$ where your a*** is?

3. Uh?
"It's bad enough we had to watch Kerry embarrass himself on his world tour of stupidity, visiting America's enemies and taking photo ops like this. But- we shouldn't have to stand for this rubbish."

I don't want to try and insinuate anything but Kerry was overseas visiting the troops, wasn't he. Is this wingbat actually calling the troops America's enemies? And even if he meant Iraq, how are they our enemies? Considering they didn't do a single damn thing to warrant the United States destroying and invading their country I don't see how we can consider them an enemy.

You know what? Just not today. I can't deal with these people today - it's already a pretty crappy day and if I have to listen to these people spin their lies and distortions any more I think I will just lose it.

God I hate them so much.

And these sorry ass people booing Kerry just pissed me off even more. Then I ran across this shit where they are pissed over a damn war criminal and making the sorry ass remarks they are and I couldn't believe what these assholes was saying. I'm damn sick of people putting down democrats and I'm sick of all the damn Kerry bashing. And this here just goes to show he is already pissing these fuckers off and they are damn worried about Kerry plans to do next.

4. And yet they are so blind that they cannot see the "mote" in their own eye
Edited on Thu Jan-20-05 06:30 PM by itzamirakul
Just look at the name-calling this article descends into.

Just a few minutes ago, I emailed a letter to the editors of the NY Daily News regarding a rightwing opinion columnist who was blasting Sen. Boxer and Sen. Kennedy for standing up to the Republicans. In that relatively short column he manged to get in the following smear terms against Democrats:

wackadoos
browbeaters
moralizer
crossing the line
needs a rest
meltdown
over the edge
condescending
get a grip
potty mouths

Maybe it's just a useless exercise, but I intend to keep writing to both the media and to the politicians to let them know that we are watching everything they do.

they brought the Government to a standstill for weeks under Clinton, without the remotest teeniest justification. Just badness.

9. Please do continue. I am currently on vacation from writing the media
just for my own sanity, but obviously these efforts are starting to work. I will continue to sign petitions and in fact think that may be the direction we should head with the media. Mass emails of the very same message has been effective with our government why not the media?

20. Please just take a partial vacation...
We have a letter writing campaign taking place here on DU with sample leters provided if you find that you are just too tired to write your own on some days. I know, because after I write one or two letters, I often feel exhausted, but when I am done, I really feel energized. So please, write maybe just one a week...don't stop altogether. :)

17. Alert what. This is like a cheer for our side!
We're annoying the shit out of these people. They want to make it sound like we're in decline.

My morning radio guys were doing the same thing. One of them said that the vote by Boxer and Kerry not to accept Rice just showed that the last election wasn't the wakeup call that it should have bee, and that we're just going to become more and more marginalized, because we don't realize we're not the mainstream.

Ah, but we are more in the mainstream than they realize. Or perhaps they DO realize(and that's why they sound so desperate).

Btw, AD is not a freeper. She's a rabid, drooling Kerry supporter like me. :-D

Please read some of her other posts; I think you're getting thrown by her lack of attribution of quotes from the article. Yes, freeps do often post this sort of thing as bait, but this isn't one of those occasions. She is genuinely outraged by the statements in the article.

22. This guy makes our job easier.
Anyone still nuetral about politics (hard to believe anyone in America can be that way today) can judge for him or herself who's opinions best represent their views of America today.

They are getting more shrill and uglier because their end of the gene pool is evaporating. About all that's left are non-thinking anti-social haters. It's not Democrats that are making the news about the Iraqi quagmire, or draining the Treasury, or "fixing" Social Security, or having $40MM cornonations.....it's the people who have been calling the shots since the mid-90's - the Republicans.

As bad as this election was, time is on our side. We've seen the high water mark of Republican popularity. As the tide recedes, all that remains is the flotsom, jetsom, and telltale oily stains.

10. I think some people missed that the back half of the post was
quotes from the article, not your opinions.

I don't know if JK really didn't want the job or what, but it's good to see him fighting now. If he had made his positions this clear during the campaign, perhaps we'd have had an inauguration today instead of a coronation.

Kerry is going to be fighting back hard. Let's support him and fight back ourselves. We can do this.
