Related to the discussion of the story run by the AP, alleging improprieties in Shelley's office handling and employment policies.

Here are my notes from a question asked at the end of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA, Minority Leader)'s address today.


Q: (unintelligible) "Can you comment on the allegations against Kevin Shelley, (California Secretary of State)?"

Rep. Pelosi: "I can't comment on that, I have no comment. I have known him for many years. He is a person of integrity. I can't answer to things you have brought up, because I am not familiar {with them}..."

a power grab from REpubes. If the next Sec. of State of Calif. is a Repube--we investigate him thoroughly.
