Oppose Diebold, lose your job: what Californian's have learned. |
|
Kevin Shelley was the SofS with the courage to take on Diebold. In retaliation, they smeared his name and Arnold now is planning to give the state to Diebold and appoint a Diebold supporter as S of S. What we've learned is that when the Lieutenant Governor's son wants the job of the Secretary of State, the Democratic officials won't lift a finger to save voting in CA. Nepotism is much more important than voting and ethics. Of course, Bustamonte's son will probably never get the job because he would have to be elected in 2006. He's glad to not have to run against Shelley in the primary. But he doesn't realize that now he will be running against Diebold.

1. This was a RW smear just like they did to Rose Bird. Goodbye fairness. |

2. I hope you folks on the left coast can sort all this out! |

Lot o' votes out there!
Do you have VVPBs at least, or is that out the door with Shelley? What about bills for random mandatory surprise audits? What's the LAW (not that that actually matters, of course)?
What about a referendum? You're good at that sort of thing. Propositions, right?
