9. Tuh?
He is awesome! People around here are still talking about his 'Running Fence', completed in 1976. It was white fabric, 18 feet high and over 24 miles long, that stretched across the rolling hills of Sonoma County and plunged into the Pacific. It was beautiful and quite amazing to see.

I love 'The Gates' too, though I haven't seen it in person.

It seems like everyone on the TeeVee is trashing the artist and the work. I think Christo & Jeanne-Claude are great artists.

2. In honor of the "Orange Alert" that this city seems to be perpetually
threatened with.

I expect another one any day now.

3. It's not orange, according to Christo...it's "saffron"
How silly of us not to see that.

4. I Think it Was a Tibetan Buddhist Color
you know, like those saffron robes the monks wear. And the gates were like all those stand-alone city gate things in Asia.

At least that's what I heard.

7. LOL! LOL! LOL! I love them in RED, but was thinking more...
seriously, like it might have been a comment on the 'Ukraine'?
All your suppositions are really good.
But I would like to experience the walk and they look great from the air.

11. Gloomberg's smirk signaled that it really means revolution (for us!)
I think it's a signal for the US to have a revolution like the Ukraine did. I've been thinking about that and the time is tooooooooooooooooooooo weird. I think it's a DIRECT signal to the American people to have a revolution WITHOUT KKKarl Rove getting defensive and ordering someone's "suicide" or attacking Senator Kerry.

Waiting for the IMPEACHMENT WHILE THE SCANDALS KEEP UNFOLDING.
