Who here is going to the Oakland teach-in tomorrow?
Looking forward to meeting you!
I'll be speaking in the morning, presenting some of the findings of Richard Hayes Phillips.
Make sure to introduce yourself, and/or put your screenname on your nametag!

1. Wish I was! Any web casting, archive posting, recording happening?
I offered to help, but got no response. (They're probably too busy preparing for it.) If anyone records, video tapes any or all of it, they can upload it to either the Indy sites (SF Bay Indy media is a good choice) or archive.org. It would be good to share this with others. In any event, have fun and take care.

I know they've been given some offers of help for uploading onto the web afterwards. I don't know what their plans are except to share the info in whatever ways they're able.

Also, there will be a radio follow-up/recap the next day that's streaming online and will be archived as well. The show is KPFA's Sunday Salon, hosted by Larry Bensky. KPFA radio is 94.1 FM in Berkeley, CA and streams at kpfa.org. The show will be broadcast Sunday, February 27, from 10-11 a.m. Pacific time.

I just found out about it today. I'll do my best to make it, or at least most of it. Especially since I live only a couple of miles away.

6. I wish I could go
I lived on Chetwood Ave near the rose garden. My friend James, and his brother, Jimmy, run the Yang Chow Restaurant on Grand Ave. Great food, if you want to eat away from Chinatown.

I came across pictures of the Grand Lake Theatre marquee, brought a smile to my lips.

7. Grand Lake Theater Marquee may have teach-in blurb
That was supposed to go up yesterday. Haven't heard if it did.
Thanks for the restaurant recommendation. Sorry you can't make it.
