"CBS 60 Minutes" had that "old story about Spy Plane/Renditions" just now

It's an "Old Story" to us DU'ers who have known about the "Torture Plane" which flies internationally...and "Renditions."

But...to "Joe and Sarah" in "middle America" maybe this is NEW NEWS?

They've "dumbed down the story" so that "mercury ridden brains" can get it...BUT..I'm GLAD THEY DID IT!

Did any DU'er see it? I don't watch much TV MEDIA...but I was scrolling tonight after watching C-Span and hit on this... It sounded sort or good to me....although not coming up to what I know on the INTERNETS.

I think "CBS 60 Minutes" was trying...but they spent too much time "Trashing Clinton/CIA and the rest." Maybe it was a "semi-cave in by
"60 Minutes" but there were a few "nuggets."

wanted to smack that sh*t eaten grin off Scheuers (sp?) face. Especially when he was so glib about "rendering" the wrong people. Of course they started off the story saying Clinton approved it, and then went on to ***H.

3. Two out of Three stories were good....so I'm glad that his No TV DU'er

got hooked...just because I turned on C-Span about Plame Case and "Surfed" after watching.

It's the "Sleeping Americans" we've gotta reach...even if us more "Politically Savy" here on DU want to get rid of their Cable...and go to the Community Living or out of America.

I see it from all sides. I don't like to watch the "whore media" but hope that there is still "some" independent stuff out there. CBS did themselves proud tonight even "hobbled" with cut legs after Rather to get just a "little" truth out...

So I give them an "A" on this..given that they were considered DEAD by Howie Kurtz. :D REVENGE OF RATHER...

4. It Gave Me Hope

and I loved the way Leslie Stahl stood up to Tom Delay and his thuglets. If only, if, if only the rest of them would re-find their courage and sense of decency. Each of those stories, quite different, but yet related, presented an appalling picture of America right now.
