Quick rundown on the Ohio meeting
Lynn Landes was there! First time I had ever met her and boy did she give me an ear full. I won't go into the subject but you could prolly guess. Lynn and EmilyOVC debated and Lynn was hot. Emily handled herself well and I was quite impressed with her. Emily is a genuinely nice gal and I am really glad I have gotten to meet her. Bob Fitrakas was rocking as usual and Susan Truitt was on fire...I have to say Susan T is another one of those people you meet in life and immediately love. She is tireless in her efforts here in Ohio and I am honored to call her friend. Paul Harmon from licking county spoke and recounted his trials there. Man was there fraud there or what? He said he has filed suit and it is currently in front of the Ohio Supreme Court. He is not too hopefully about the outcome...but I am not so sure he should be worrying. I guess he knows better but we shall see. Cliff Arnebeck was also in attendance today and I was very happy to see him as well..we chatted for a few minutes until I was called to do my class. About 20 people showed up for my segment and several commented to me they were glad they came and that they learned quite a bit. I was so happy to see many old friends, and meet some old friends face to face for the first time.

After the conference I attended a meetup put together by goodboy...we met at Hoolihans with several DU'ers and local folk from the "meetup" site. Good times we had by all. I was a nice relaxing dinner after a very long , hectic but extremely enjoyable day. I am exhausted but it is a good tired. Now for the next 2 days I am psyching myself up for surgery. I am scared but I am gonna face this monster and WIN!!!!! I am gonna be up for a while and will answer to this thread after I have a cup of tea. \:)/

2. I'm glad it went well.
I wish I had known about it so I could have been there. I remember seeing the initial announcement but there was no date and I didn't follow up. Damn.

What was the primary subject of the meeting? Election reform I assume. But what specifically? More uniform standards? Getting rid of the Sec of State overseeing everything?

3. Those of us who tirelessly worked in Ohio
would LOVE to know that there are TONS of groups working to get rid of these corrupt Republican groups who have taken over the state elections. Please Andy, can you remind people that each local group has the ability to not only VOTE but to become watchdogs of their local governments. If you see hankypanky YOU can broadcast the truth LOCALLY through friends, neighbors, church gatherings, baseball games and "all that jazz..." And I believe if people KNEW where/how to get active they would. So Ohio folks, come to the Democracy cell Project where there is experienced political organizers to HELP you succeed in taking back your government from these corrupt officials. But if you don't act NOW then you might regret it later!

5. Thanks, Andy...
It inspires those of us who feel isolated in our grassroots efforts around the country to read about the spirit in Ohio --
