Anyone have Virginia exit polling data?
I would like to see the exit polling throughout the day. Ive been looking at the numbers at the state's election website and Fairfax county especially. I am suprised that Fairfax Co only went 54% or so Kerry. Im not from NoVa but I thought Fairfax was very liberal. 460k votes in that one county.

of the 3 congressional races, Democrat Moran won district 8 with 57.8%, Rethug Wolfe won district 10 with 59%, and Repug named Davis won District 11 with 60%.

That seems a little odd, but like I say I dont know much about fairfax political scene.

I do remember getting home from work and turning on the news (while I lurked DU and KOS) and saw that they weren't calling Virginia, that it was too close to call. CNN showed a exit poll graphic from Va that showed a slight Bush lead.

Final count was 54% Bush and 45% Kerry. (opposite of the Fairfax numbers btw)

4. Let's look at Virginia!
I voted on one of those unverifiable e-vote machines. I do remember people saying that Virginia was close early. I'd love to see some stat analysis on county by county.

try that link to see what states/counties use what type of equipment. I'd love to help!

Virginia has a wonderfull mix of equipment.

5. I use to vote in VA
in Fairfax until this election. I talked to the folks at the polling places and there are paper counters inside the machines in Farifax. Farifax is not as Democratic as Arlington and Alexandria, but way more Democratic than most of VA....and I do think Bush won Fairfax in 2000 as a previous poster stated - but Gore carried my precinct

I know for sure the old machines in Fairfax had paper because I use to witness the counts for the Dems - so I'm fairly comfortable that the new machines have them too.
