Any protests planned in the US for Nov. 2, 2005? The one |
year anniversary of the second stolen election? I know that September 24th is a protest day but I was wondering about November 2nd. One year later, that day is still so fresh in my mind. I worked the "election" in Texas. I was drafted as the Alternate Election Judge for my precinct. All day long I worked the polls. After people voted they got these little lapel stickers that said, "my vote counted." Ha. Right. What a crock. I knew going into it that their votes might not be counted but somehow, naivete or hope or something made me believe that it would be a fair election and that the will of the people (all those people who came out to vote, and not for more of the same) WOULD count. Silly me. How stupid I would feel in the days that followed Nov. 2nd. How stupid of me to think that it would be a fair election in the United States of America...and in the South too. Well, in a couple of months, it's the one year anniversary of the dark, dark day that will forever be in my mind. I haven't forgotten. I haven't forgiven either. I refuse to "get over it." So, I don't know. I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way tonight...August 21, 2005? And if anyone knows of any protests about the stolen election? Or if anyone was planning any?

2. You worked as an election judge? What did you see? |
Were you able to witness election fraud? Were you involved in vote tabulation? Were you able to witness vote tabulation? What did you see?

4. I have, but not for long enough. |
I came in after the 2004 elections, and probably missed the relevant threads.

7. I'm sure we will organize something there in Columbus, OH epicenter of the |
theft. right now all the activists are tied up with investigations and attempting to keep Diebold out of counties. I think after the Sept DC rally we can get organizing for November. I will pass on to CASE, Fitrakis and Arnebeck. Perhaps we can focus on Blackwell's office .
