1. Bush drops to 36% Approve—Now CM Will Cover the “F” word (Election FRAUD)

That’s right, Mr. & Mrs. America will want to know how * was ever re-elected in 2004, “After all, I didn’t vote for him,” they will say (and they’re right). The reelection and our current circumstances cry out for an answer—there is one, election fraud. The drop below 40% (who thought it would go this fast) is the rationale to seek the true explanation of our current miseries.

BUSH AT 36% APPROVAL; STUNNING; OPENS DOOR FOR REAL DISCUSSION OF FRAUD 2004 (AND 2000)

http://americanresearchgroup.com/

8/22/05

Bush

36% Approve (Yes that’s thirty six percent approve)
38% Disapprove
06% Undecided

You know what this means, the "f" word as in election FRAUD is now acceptable for use by CM (Corporate Media)

What They Did Last Fall
Paul Krugman, New York Times, Op-Ed Page, August 19, 2005

“Our current political leaders would suffer greatly if either house of Congress changed hands in 2006, or if the presidency changed hands in 2008. The lids would come off all the simmering scandals, from the selling of the Iraq war to profiteering by politically connected companies. THE REPUBLICANS WILL BE STRONGLY TEMPTED TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY WIN THOSE ELECTIONS BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. AND EVERYTHING WE'VE SEEN SUGGESTS THAT THEY WILL GIVE IN TO THAT TEMPTATION.”

It’s all good

10. That's 58% disapproval, not 38%!
He's well on his way to impeachment.

2. WI: Bogus Republican Election Fraud Group Flops—Feds Say No to Fraud!
WI: Bogus Republican Election Fraud Group Flops—Feds Say No to Fraud!

OK, Mehlman, You and your bogus faux election fraud group (with a "Democrats for Bush Director") said Milwaukee was a hot bed of fraud. Didn’t take the Feds long (Republican appointed Feds) to say your charges were bogus, just like the group. REJOICE, another Republican hoax.

Feds: No Fraud in Double Voting Reports

http://www.philstar.com/philstar/Freeman200508231801.htm

POSTED: 10:44 pm CDT August 22, 2005
UPDATED: 10:50 pm CDT August 22, 2005
Associated Press

MILWAUKEE -- Federal investigators said they found no evidence of fraud after investigating allegations by the state Republican Party that at least nine people voted both in Milwaukee and in another city in last November's election.

The GOP earlier this month used U.S. Postal Service change-of-address records to allege nine people voted in Milwaukee and then again Chicago, Minneapolis or Madison.
But assistant U.S. attorney Rick Frohling said the investigation found sloppy bookkeeping, not fraud.

Problems in last fall's election have led to state and federal investigations.
They include allegations that there were some 4,600 more ballots cast than voters tallied at the polls, that hundreds of votes were cast by felons, and that people used fake names and addresses when registering to vote.

3. WSJ Editorial Page Alert: John Fund Tries to Respond to “the Man” (KrugMAN
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 02:01 AM by autorank
Watch the spin now that Krugman said the Republicans would stop at nothing to win in 2006, including stealing another election. Here are the Faux beltway boys, Fund and Jaun Williams, putting down Voting Rights renewal, SHIFTING THE FRAUD ARGUMENT TO ID CARDS (a clear rhetorical strategy), and making asses out of themselves.

Resurrecting Jim Crow for Political Gain

Voter fraud is also a threat to minority voters.

Monday, August 22, 2005 12:01 a.m. EDT

The Voting Rights Act, whose 40th anniversary we celebrate this month, has helped minorities elect 81 sitting members of Congress and thousands of local officials. But the rally civil rights groups held in Atlanta earlier this month to push for extension of the act's key temporary provisions downplayed those gains and instead pushed wild claims that some state laws requiring an ID to vote are the functional equivalent of Jim Crow poll taxes.

Both Judge Greg Mathis, the star of a syndicated courtroom TV show, and California Rep. Barbara Lee claimed that the last two presidential elections had been "stolen." Judge Mathis told the rally Republican leaders "need to be locked up because they're all criminals and thieves." Other speakers claimed Georgia's new photo ID law would suppress poor and elderly minority voters who might lack such a document. When the bill passed the Georgia House in March, black legislators sang slave songs and one even slammed a prisoner's shackles on the desk of the sponsor.

Juan Williams, a National Public Radio correspondent and author of "Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years," is "stunned" by such vituperation. He told Fox News that it is "reacting to devils that have been slain 40 years ago." He says that "in service to having no fraud elections, I think you could say to people, go and get a legitimate ID. I don't think that's too much to ask."

4. OH: It’s Happening. State Special Prosecutor Investigates 2004 Fraud

Baxter was appointed a few months ago. He’s been quiet but obviously doing his job. Watch for big things here. Remember this, all recent Ohio corruption leads back to one starting point, the 2004 election.

Special prosecutor subpoenas election workers

Monday, August 22, 2005
Angela D. Chatman
Plain Dealer Reporter

A special prosecutor investigating charges of illegal conduct in election recount last December has subpoenaed employees of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
The employees will testify before a Cuyahoga County grand jury Tuesday.

The special prosecutor, Erie County Prosecutor Kevin J. Baxter, said that subpoenas were sent to as many as 10 people last week. He said he could not disclose who would testify.
<snip>

In a Dec. 31 letter to the board and Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason, Kerger charged that the elections board staff broke the law because:

It failed to randomly select the 36 precincts used to represent at least 3 percent of the total vote for the December recount.

It conducted "test-run" recounts without witnesses.

6. Philippines: Cardinal Holds the Goods. Won’t Give Up Fraud Evidence.
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 02:08 AM by autorank
Yesterday, the top brass in the military called out the “young Turks.” Today we find that Cardinal Vidal has copies of election documentation the church. This is an amazing story. The Philippine citizens have a real passion for fair elections. Please note that the Philippines has a "National Movement for Free Elections." What a concept!

Vidal has copies of election returns

http://www.philstar.com/philstar/Freeman200508231801.htm

By Jasmin R. Uy
The Freeman 08/23/2005

Cebu Archbishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal yesterday confirmed that he kept the sixth copy of all election returns that a Church-based poll watch group had entrusted to him for safekeeping.

This is the first time Vidal made public the whereabouts of the copies of the ERs given to the Cebu Citizens Involvement Maturation and Peoples Empowerment for Liberation, or C-CIMPEL, a local affiliate of the National Movement for Free Elections.

Vidal said these copies of election documents have been kept in at least 32 large boxes at the Archbishop's Palace but said he could not open them at this time.

"I have so many election returns from the administration and the opposition but I have not checked everything yet. I can't open them because I am not allowed to except when there is a court order," Vidal said.

Vidal made the statement on C-CIMPEL's copies in the wake of renewed allegations that massive electoral cheating were committed in Cebu to ensure President Gloria Arroyo's victory for a full term as the country's president.

11. "Conservative" Cleveland columnist thinks Blackwell's next governor
http://www.cleveland.com/news/plaindealer/phillip_morris/index.ssf?/base/opinion/1124789441156911.xml&coll=2&thispage=2

...In some ways, Blackwell is blazing a trail much like the one that carried Wilder to the governor's mansion in Virginia nearly 15 years ago. Critics who a year ago may have scoffed at Blackwell's grandiose ambitions are now taking notice as early polls show Blackwell winning a three-way GOP primary with the announced candidates, Auditor Betty Montgomery and Attorney General Jim Petro.

Furthermore, the exploding ethics scandal, which threatens to wreak havoc on Republican office seekers next year, may not damage Blackwell. He can even say, "I told you so."

As Ohio treasurer nearly a decade ago, he unsuccessfully championed reforms to the Bureau of Workers' Compensation that would have taken the agency's investment responsibility away and placed it with the treasurer's office...

Your next governor.
