9. Okay, I still don't get it.

So in Ohio, the number of registered voters is less than the votes cast because of absentee ballots. So, don't the absentee ballot casters STILL have to be registered voters? In Ohio, does one's absentee ballot come with automatic registration or something? And what about this bit that some votes were counted twice in each of two counties?

I don't understand this. Can anyone explain?

Thank you KRKaufman so much for posting the video link -- I don't get MSNBC and that is the only way I can watch these shows.

I'm naming my first born child after Keith Olbermann. He is absolutely awesome. He is relentless in his questioning; ruthlessly points out the strange mainstream media blackout. Didn't cut them any slack.

Loved Olbermann's "ABC did a brief and dismissive report on the subject last night" remark.

David Dill (Computer Scientist at Stanford) -- "With electronic voting there is no safety net, and the only thing you can do is hold a new election."

Alter from Newsweek says "It's crazy that we are about to have elections soon in Iraq, and we can't get our own act together here in the US."

And as for Mr. Keith Olbermann, the best just keeps getting better.

He goes easier on the press tonight, repeating that the press was overworked as possible explanation for the lack of reportage on the "cascade" of vote irregularities. This appears to me as granting an amnesty of sorts for "reporters gone mild" (and missing in action.)

Aside from the fact that Mr. Olbermann is a gentleman's gentleman, he'll hopefully catch more flies with that particular spoonful of honey.
