Evidently Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is writing an article about election fraud for Rolling Stone. This could give us a shot in the arm.

Walden O'dell is the president CEO of Diebold and he is also a Bush Pioneer ... and he promised in a letter to all Diebold executives and major funders back in 2003 that he would deliver the Ohio election to Bush. There were 700,000 voters on the Diebold machines and hundreds of affidavits that when they pushed on the touchsceen machines for Kerry it would register for Bush............. ...and the purpose of the Help America Vote Act was not to help America vote, it was to help America purchase Diebold touchscreen machines.... ...it's scary and I think it's the biggest story in our democracy today."

I figure if nobody cares if we have accurate (or even slightly accurate) elections, then how can we ever hope to achieve ANYTHING??? An article in the 2/9/06 London Review of Books, reviewing a book on the barrister who prosecuted King Charles I, begins:

"When I read for the English Bar in the 1960s, the legal history lecturer stopped when he reached 1649 and explained that he was now moving directly to 1660, because everything that happened between the trial of the king and the restoration of the monarchy was a nullity."

Wonder if the future will say that everything that happened in America between Supreme Court decision in 2000 and either impeachment or 2008 was also "a nullity."
