3. You are so right
If your SOS is in charge of elections, then by all means get
decent candidates in there.

These are all good candidates who want our votes to be counted.

This is my kick of support

5. Debra Bowen must win to keep CA from turning red; as CA goes, so goes U.S.
Bowen's opponent, the Republican Secretary of State Bruce McPherson, is trying to ram through recertification of Diebold touchscreens over strenuous objections from the public.

How determined is the GOP to take back control of CA?

They're dispatching an army of GOP boots on the ground led by Bush strategists to help Schwarzenegger hang on to the Governorship and GOTV for the GOP statewide. They don't need any more help from Diebold, so please support Bowen, a champion of election reform!

7. The GOPs really need to keep Arnie in there
not that they need California for electoral votes - that would SCREAM FRAUD too loudly - but they need machines rigged there for congressional seats and the popular vote total for pres.

8. I just spoke to Ritchie at the MN state convention a few hours ago
He had just beaten another passionate voting-rights activist, Christian Sande, for the party's endorsement. Both of them had given rousing speeches describing the battles they've fought against the incumbent GOP SoS, Mary Kiffmeyer, to prevent her from disenfranchising vulnerable groups like Native Americans and the poor.

Ritchie's candidacy is sure to raise awareness of the election integrity issue. I think it's vital to get him elected, as the incumbent is a budding Harris/Blackwell, and Minnesota is going to be important to the GOP in 2006 and 2008. I'll certainly be sending a contribution to his campaign.

10. All great candidates!

Mark Ritchie headed up the November 2 campaign, a massive GOTV effort prior to the 04 election, and is very much an election reform advocate.
