X-POST Elections Forum - Volunteers needed FRAUD Busters
Edited on Sat Nov-04-06 07:40 PM by autorank
These great DUers volunteered to help monitor key races for Democrats – those where Democrats are in a tight race with INCUMBENT Republicans. The basis for monitoring is the ASSUMPTION that where the margin is smallest the opportunities for marginal but effective fraud are largest.

These DUers will report election returns and news links election eve. The returns will be analyzed by TruthIsAll and we’ll report on them RIGHT HERE,

We still need some volunteers. If you can, up here and I’ll get in touch with you. This is not time intensive and can be done on your compouter. But the IMPACT can be huge. Let them know we’re watching and THANK YOU to those who signed up

Seats open - Volunteers needed in: CT, IL, IN, KY, NH, NM, NY OH, PA, WI

2. please add il 6th
i know that it does not fit your criteria, as the r is not an incumbent, but he might as well be. he is henry hyde's hand picked successor. they are desperate to beat tammy duckworth. the margin is razor thin. a scummier bunch you will not find.
there are some good du'ers in that area, also.
i will be working the polls that day, but i will be sure to check in before collapsing.

10. The campaign comes first for me.
But yeah .. sure.

Marist has Bob up by 8%, with Indie voters breaking to Bob 39 to 51. SO 3 polls have Bob up 8-10-12. While Bob's approval is up 3 to 4, and Kean's approval is down 1%.

NJ voter reg is 50% Indie, 30% DEM & 20% "R". With all things turnout are equal amounst the "R"'s & "D"'s, if Indies are breaking 12% to Bob, I think its safe to say the trend is to Bob. Our GOTV (17k paid canvassers & 7 k Voluteers)is double or triple the size of the "R"'s during the last 72 hrs. IF we win on the GOTV front, thats worth 3-5%.

SO I am revizing my predictions upwards, Menendez by 11 to 17%

Edited on Sat Nov-04-06 08:11 PM by FogerRox
Pulling away fron Kean Jr like a race horse, may be moot point. I dont know how much time I will have, but I will chip in.

The last 3 polls are Bob up by 8, 10 & 12%. Marist poll has Indie voters breaking 39 to 51 for BOb.

18. A hopefully not too stupid question
I live in the 11th district of PA which is not listed as a contested area. Fine I'll just monitor other districts. What exactly are we supposed to do though? I really want to help but I don't know what it is that is expected of me? Should I just get election results from these candidates websites, screenshots at these sites all night? Monitor local news election results? I don't know yet what I will be doing tonight. Awaiting orders sir.

20. Here you go:
Take your time and get comfortable. The initial results are what you want to capture tonight. Also any stories.

There may be more stories in the press or on local blogs in the follow up to the election.

Tonight gather what you can and send it here. I'll start a thread on DU when we have enough information.

Hopefully, we'll win all these races and that will be that.

If we lose in any of these areas, we'd like to get a follow up on links relating to the election process. Also, win or lose, we'd like information on the vote count so, if you don't mind, check in to the board of elections web page daily and just capture it and send it along. You can down load the page or do a screen shot and send them to this mail box. I'll give you feed back on any hot races.

Thanks, Mike

Here's the article. May come in handy.

Also, check in on the DU thread, if I can coax a vote out of you (just one per person;)

Good luck...

21. How do I screen capture?
I tried the Alt-PrtScn but it doesn't seem to work for me tonight. It wokred when I did what Dave said to do in his mail. But I can't find that mail.

If my computer is glitching, I can still use my art program to get it done. But his way was easier.

thx! :pals:
