How do we get summaries of reported election problems for our states FAST?
I am aware of the Election Incident Reporting System (EIRS) and the number of hot-lines that were set up to allow voters to report problems during voting. But try as I might (and from two different computers), I have been unable to get information off the EIRS system for Tennessee. And I have no idea how to obtain information reported for my state from the various toll-free hot-lines.

It seems to me that all of us have an excellent opportunity to educate our local and state election commissions (and the other citizens of our states) to the many continuing problems with voting (particularly on paperless touch-screens) if we could get access to the information reported from our states to these hot-lines. So if anyone can post information on how we can obtain this information FAST from as many of these hot-lines as possible, that would be most appreciated.

My thanks to EIRS, Common Cause and all the other organizations that set up and manned these hot-lines. We are deluged with reports of problems here in Tennessee in the media (long damn overdue, IMHO)-- I just want to get all the information available together before we write a white paper on the '06 Orange State meltdown.

Tennessee '06 was Ohio '04.

2. Another kick -- can anyone help?
Our newspapers are filled with stories and not a single report to EIRS.

perhaps the Dems? but then again they will not have reports from other parties....

I think not many people reported to the EIRS this time, and they actually also revised the numbers down from a high of 145 in Los Angeles. Perhaps duplicates?

The SOS and registrars also do have hotlines but they probably will not report those as it is a blemish on what they were doing.

frustrating, isn't it. If I find something reliable I will post.

4. I haven't been able to find an online EIRS database for 2006
www.voteprotect.org still has the 2004 EIRS data base up online.

Maybe they didn't get enough financial support this year.
I do know that they have a hotline for calls this year.
