n? Cleveland, Ohio

widespread voter suppression, purges of minority voters, malfeasance of officials and poll workers, shortage of machines, use of machines that don't work in minority precincts that vote high Dem, illegal dirty tricks, last minute changes in polling places w/o notification, absentee problems, counting fraud(see Dr. Richard Phillips testimony), etc.

ps: I'm aware that many in Ohio have been fighting an uphill battle in recent times against an entrenched clique controlling the elections and supported by partisan judges not sympathetic to transparency and fairness in elections

similar to what we've experienced in Florida

maybe with a new SOE, things will be different

1. A most interesting question!
We lose millions of votes every election to spoilage, mishandling & outright fraud. The republiclowns would never stand for this sort of crap if it were being perpetrated upon them!

4. The most important Election on November 7, 2006 was
the election of Jennifer Bruner to Ohio SOS.

3. I think it's about the law...
and the remedy...and both are mired in shit. The secretary of state ensures that no one knows how, when, or where the votes went. His appointees, at various precincts enable the process. A recount, based purely on the percentage of the final tally is not even done legitimately. Ohio is run like Tammany Hall. I hope that with the removal of some of the more notable bad guys things will improve.
