Did Mean Jean Schmidt actually win in Ohio, again?
I saw some article mentioning her and I can't believe she could have won once again.

Is she contested at least? Machine failure...SOMETHING!

Vote counting will end Tuesday
BY JON CRAIG | ENQUIRER COLUMBUS BUREAU

Vote counts in the 2nd Congressional District remain unofficial in Clermont and Hamilton counties, where provisional ballots continued to be counted today [Monday, 11/27/06].

Provisional ballots are those cast by voters without proper identification and not counted on Election Day.

The Clermont and Hamilton County boards of election are not expected to certify official results until Tuesday, the last day to send final results to Secretary of State Ken Blackwell.

U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Miami Township, is leading Democrat Victoria Wulsin by about 3,000 votes, 117,000 to 114,000, according to unofficial results reported by her campaign manager, Matt Perin.

Wulsin has not conceded. Her campaign manager could not be reached for comment today.

Wulsin must pull within 1,200 votes after the remaining 6,300 ballots are counted to trigger an automatic recount.

6. In a fair count I think Wulsin won; but they are unlikely to have fair count- unless
Wulsin contests it. Here is summary of voter reports of lots of irregularities in Wulsin's main area

www.flcv.com/hamiltn6.html

There are more like this available from other sources, like Common Cause EP hotline incidents, etc.

7. You will note, there appears to have been lots of official/poll worker malfeasance
to suppress minority vote in Franklin County

also a question of ballot design, the race may have been missing on some ballots in Wulsin's strong area.

9. there is enough specifics in some voter reports to EP to identify individual malfeasance
Its clear that some of the EP volunteers were also aware of it.
In cases where voters provided contact info(there were many such) they can be contacted to see if they would be willing to provide an affidavit.
Likely similar for the EP volunteers in that area, who have knowledge of relevance.

11. Thanks for the updates! Sounds like there are enough questions that
even if Mean Jean pulls it out..there could be a lawsuit? Or at the least another cataloging of voting disenfranchisment in Ohio that needs to be exposed and prosecuted.

No word yet on why she decided this, given info that was available to her.
