Ohio provisional ballot totals? |
I am trying to find out whether the tally for the provisional ballots has been reached yet, and if not, when it ought to be published? And is there an official place this would be published? And yes, I realize that this is entirely different from the recount.

1. I heard on CNN that it may take a month to complete the entire |
process of checking on whether or not to accept each provisional ballots.

3. So, was the recount filed by the Greens? |
I just went to the site and it is same one from earlier today-saying they reached their money filing goal but nothing about the actual filing.

4. And that's what will happen. |
Toady is the 15th of November and the election must be done by 12/13 for the electors to vote. So they better start counting or it won't matter.

5. Remember, if Ohio elector certification can be prevented, we win. |
I think that we really ought to consider what might legally be done to prevent Ohio from presenting electors.

6. If the recount is done on time |
They will certify it for *. Happened in FL in 2000.

8. You're right... I did the math wrong... |
That wouldn't change the result. We have to win Ohio.

9. Go over to dailykos ... |
There's a diary by a lawyer who is real fired up about the recount.
On the thread, several people post results of provisional ballot counts done by individual Ohio counties (i.e., Kerry getting 66% in one county, 50% in another, etc.).

10. If no Ohio - House decides |
If neither candidate has 279 electoral votes the House will decide, with each state delegation getting one vote. Since the Republicans control the majority of delegations, Bush would win.
Our only hope is actually winning the electors in Ohio.
