100,000 relocatable democrats can take back Congress |
|
If we win our fight to actually have the vote counted, the Rethugs would be toast.
But look at winning margins in the Congressional Races.
We need to start to think about a coordinated campigne to take back congress.
We need to organize congressman watching and letter writing,
Talking points, the Delay bunch are slimy scam artists trading on "funmentalist" cant to cheat people
1. out of their property by federal cuts that force up local property taxes. 2. out of their retirement by enacting laws that make it easier for companies to renge on their pention obligations.
And proposing to cheat them out of:
3. their Social Secutity by diverting money into the stock market. 4. their health care by repealing the deduction for health insurance.
If you don't want to contest the fraud then you can contribute a lot by focusing on softening up the House Thugs. The 2006 Congressional Campignes start NOW. Don't give the %$##@!! an inch. Start softening them up now.
And when the Rethugs gerrymander Districts we need to move democrats in to take them back.

1. Hence my name I have an idea! |
|
If all the Democrats East of the Rockies were to pick up and move to New Mexico, Colorado and beyond we could leave a great big financial hole in Jesus land. We would of course have a surging economy out there, complete legislative control, stem cell research, health care for all, better education and just about everything else we dream of as democrats. Jesus land on the other hand would be bankrupt and looking like the wastelands. Eventually of course they would attack us for being too cool. They would have Ron Silver and we would have Brad Pitt. They would have Toby Keith and we'd have REM. A nuclear war would ensue and they would end up eating each other. Oh wait they already do that!

7. have a "people's election day" |
|
everyone takes a truck, boat, plane, train all the left, go to the west of the missiippii and all the right, go to the east. and just see who wins.
if republicans figure out a way to fudge that, (import cheap labor, change the rules, etc)
we can succeed to canada. (is there a law against successon?)
let them duke it out on their own with their 'holy war'.

do come out to New Mexico. We could definitely use all of the help anyone could lend us. We have that damn Pearce in the 2nd District here and he is nothing but a Bush yes man. And he is all for messing up our beautiful desert looking for gas and oil. Please come help us get him out of office!!!!!

5. Kerry Voters, Please Abandon the South! |
|
We don't need Democrats to move away from New York or California. We need the Kerry Voters in the South to WAKE THE F*CK UP and move to Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado.

to abandon Alabama. Can anybody offer my husband a job as Dean of Arts and Sciences anywhere? I'm ready! We've been looking for about a year, but are being very picky. Ohio is on out list as well as the other blue states. :)

with New Mexico State here in Las Cruces, NM? We could use some Dems who are willing to vote. We have tons of Democrats registered but not enough that will actually get out and vote when it is needed.

22. Don't abandon the south! |
|
Now that most of the dixies have left the democratic party for the repubs, its the perfect time to build up the democratic party with blacks and other minorities and make sure that they can vote!
I think the single biggest thing the dems could do to revive their numbers in the south is to aggressively defend minority rights there and to fund programs to revive the mills and factories. Also, get volunteers to rebuild the homes of democrats in the south. Like Habitat for Humanity - but only for dems and other progressives.
I have read how many blacks from California and other expensive areas are moving back to the South so they can be with family and due to affordability.
Things change - the southern white repubs are in power in the south - but I believe for only a very , very short while.

and move to New Mexico, Nevada or Arizona.
Arizona has clean elections due to a new law so that regular people can run and I think that means they will be more responsive to populist change in the future.

I'm convinced that if it weren't for the repuke cheating we would still have both houses of congress.
Any plans that differ from getting rid of those machines just won't cut it.

If we all invested what we invested in the "recount" fund we would have at least a couple of million for a startup.

18. It ALL about the fraud |
|
The dems would have the whole Congress by now, would have never lost control of the Senate, IF WE HAD HONEST ELECTIONS.
Im sorry but discussing it any other way is useless. If we get the fraud out of the system we will take it all back, if not, forget it.

This is something productive that they can focus on while we are trying to clean the mess up.
