I, unfortunately, firmly believe Kerry has moved on
Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 05:01 AM by RunningFromCongress
I, like many others, hoped and will continue to hope that Kerry comes out to fight. However, after looking at his email/video he sent out I am now sure he's moved on. It wasn't any of the content that proved that to me, it was the heading. This is I'm sure something not many have noticed (if they have I didn't see it), but it's something I think is very significant.

The image at the top of the email, is not the KE logo we've all seen for the past many months, it is just simply a John Kerry logo. At first glance it may not seem like much of a "message" but in reality, it is a clear message. One that says "John Kerry, just John Kerry, not Kerry/Edwards". That to me says "I'm moving on"

OLD EMAIL IMAGE(s):

NEW IMAGE:

I'm not sure if that's a horrible thing or not right now. I think good arguments could be made both ways. But I will say this, if recounts go on and Kerry ends up winning; well we win. If Kerry doesn't end up winning and works to reform voting/healthcare/etc from within the Senate, I'll support him in 2008. As I'd encourage everyone to do, I think he's really one of the Best we can offer America. I saw him change from the first day of the campaign to the last.

I hope he hasn't moved on, but I'm fairly sure he has. And honestly, that might not be a bad thing, it just depends on what he's moved on to.

I guess I'll go zip up my flame suit now.

PS - I would also like to add that if this is part of some master plan to challange the election, he's even smarter than I think he is (and I think he's VERY VERY smart)

3. Ummm. It was always just JohnKerry.com. They never bought KerryEdwards
Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 04:19 AM by saracat
because the people wanted too much for it. The fact that he is maintaining JohnKerry.com at all says something different to me.

5. Yep. I checked again It was NEVER KerryEdwards.com
The KerryEdwards site was always JohnKerry.com If you wanted to link to that letter or video, that was the only address he could use.It signifies nothing.

6. THIS is the image in ALL other KE emails
Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 04:37 AM by RunningFromCongress

The fact they're not using it anymore is the "alarm"

I'm not talking about the DOMAIN NAME, I'm talking about the HEADER IMAGE in the email

If you don't believe me go look through all your old Kerry/Edwards emails.

9. Did You Ever Stop To Think.................
......He is not suppose to be running a campaign anymore. He has been doing all of this under the radar to keep the media and repugs at bay. Don't you think it would be a little obviuos what the man was up to if he was using the campaign logo's. As it stands now all he is doing is keeping in touch with his supporters they are not going to let anyone know what is going on here until the time is right! If I said it once I have said it a hundred times this man hasn't given up $hit yet. He is still fighting people the man is not a quitter. He never has been and never will be! Go check out the man's history and background this man has had his back against the wall more times than you can count but that sure as hell never stopped him from coming out swinging! Dang!

11. for the angry dem.
Thanks for having faith. Remember that saying? Maybe you're too young but in the 70s we used to say, "Keep the faith man." Some can believe that bush is screwing this country secretly. BUt I don't understand why they can't believe that Kerry is still in the fight without alerting Bush. Not that the media ever did anything good for the Senator anyway. Why alert the other side of your plans??? I remind people all the time: Kerry fought hand to hand, he stood up to Nixon AND he rammed his boat right into the enemy. His commander said that was an admirable and brave tactic. This was Kerry's idea. Do you think he should give a loud warning in advance like bush has done with Faljuha more than once? Should he come right out and show his hand to make the doubters happy?
People who have no imagination and no vision of the future, well I just wish they'd get them. The senator will be suing John O'Neill for his slanderous book. I'm thrilled to hear that. I always knew he was the right man for the job!!!

8. Why the pessimism?
I'm really getting tired of naysayers...especially when the election issue has been getting bigger everyday. I think it's time for admins to start deleting these negative messages, they do no good and only poison our attitudes.

14. I don't know what he could say to make it CLEARER
that he has NOT moved on -

"Regardless of the outcome of this election, once all the votes are counted -- and they will be counted -- we will continue to challenge this administration. This is not a time for Democrats to retreat and accommodate extremists on critical principles -- it is a time to stand firm."

It's obvious to me that he doesn't believe the election has a clear outcome yet and this is he quite SPECIFICALLY states.

Let's look at what's said in the lines and in between the lines rather than letting personal fears cloud perceptions and interpretations.
