"Meanwhile, the New York Times sandwiched a piece debunking election complaints as groundless conspiracy theories between two fine editorials calling for "a voter-verified paper record of every vote cast," and "election officials who act with openness and integrity." Sybil, is that you?"

MSM are pretty lazy - I noticed this years ago when watching CNN's coverage of Heaven's Gate, and CNN headline news coverage shortly after Heaven's Gate of the "solar flare." I think some of them believe that their opinions count as news. I guess if you have to put out news 24 hours a day, it is just a lot easier to make things up.

Thanks for the link. :toast:
I especially liked this part:
"There is no doubt, of course, that had the e-vote been on the other foot, FOX News and Drudge would be discussing voter irregularities 'round the clock. And if Kerry's brother were Florida's governor and had a track record of disenfranchising Republicans, Rush Limbaugh would be throwing tantrum after tantrum. What do you suppose would have happened had the head of a voting machine company promised to deliver Ohio's electoral votes to John Kerry? Close your eyes and imagine."
Is that not the truth, or what?
The folks in the red states, the folks who get most of what they know about the world from the MSM, have no clue how they're being manipulated to favor the R's. It's disgusting, and I wish we could do something about it. We need 2 or 3 complete liberal television networks with news affiliates like Fox just to reach the red-staters. Otherwise, it seems, we will never get fair treatment in the media, and we will be doomed to lose ... perpetually.

about twenty steps ahead of even the lefty bloggers. I used to think she was on the wacky side. No longer. Turns out she was just seeing into the future.

Media wimps bad! Olbermann Great! The MSM should be ashamed. They could learn a thing or two from the Ukraine Journalists who have revolted against lying for their government. Sure would be nice if all our journalists were brave and honest like Olbermann. If our media didn't act like a PR dept. for this hack-job of a president and his cohorts. We could use more reporting of the evidence and less of the spin. They waste so much time on air spewing stuff that is irrelevant and ridiculous. Thank goodness Olbermann has been there to save the day. Oh yeah, and Aaron Brown. He's coming round.
