Video of a drunken repub at the White House admitting to voting fraud
This was in Alexandra Pelosi's documentary The Diaries of a Political Tourist. It aired in October of this year even though the White House BBQ where she talks to congressmen King from NY occured sometime last year.

The arrogant SOB makes me sick, watch it for yourself and then send it to your friends:

1. Every time I see this it disgusts me even more.
Yet, the arrogance and stupidity is good. You know, pride goeth before the fall.

7. Take him to task on it!
Write letters, call, visit his office, and demand an explanation!'

Get in touch with local media about it--maybe it will end up in the newpapers and TV.

Spread the video link to everyone you know--get this guy in the hot seat.

9. We need to spread that quote far and wide...
"It's already over. The election's over. We won...It's all over but the counting. And we'll take care of the counting."

- Congressman Peter King (R-NY) on {date??} with President Bush in front of the White House

When was this said? Add the date to the quote, then email the quote and the link to everybody you know and everybody in the media. People will eat this up.

It's not a "smoking gun", but it's a perfect example of "loose lips".

Makes a great bumper sticker too!

A picture of that jackass with a quote under it and the date might be my first attempt at flyering. I'd love to stuff a bunch of those under some windsheild wipers!

28. Here's the summary of it from the HBO website
"Alexandra Pelosi's Diary of a Political Tourist, chronicling her two-year road trip on the Democratic campaign trail -- from the candidates' announcements, through the early primaries, to Super Tuesday and the convention -- follows presidential wannabes as they make their run for the White House

Following the 2002 HBO documentary "Journeys with George," Pelosi's irreverent account of George W. Bush on the campaign trail, she set out on the road again with a handful of distinguished men competing to see who could eat the most pies, raise the most money and get the most votes to become the Democratic Party nominee.

An action-packed adventure criss-crossing America, her video diary reveals the fun, the exhaustion, the pain, the shame, the tears, the absurdity, the hard work and the ego that go into challenging the leader of the free world.

Featured in the special are General Wesley Clark, Governor Howard Dean,
Senator John Edwards, Congressman Dick Gephardt, Senator Bob Graham, Senator John Kerry and Senator Joe Lieberman, with cameo appearances by President George W. Bush."

http://www.hbo.com/docs/programs/diaryofapoliticaltourist/about/index.html

So it was sometime in the past two years, I guess.

Hmmm. Bush seems to be trying to intervene and get her not to talk to him, make light of the situation, looking nervous at the...possibility he might say something in his drunken state?

27. The Plot Thickens
What most people don't notice in Pelosi's film is what happens next.

Seconds after Peter King's tipsy admission, Pelosi is shooed away by Karl Rove and told that he needs to have a private conversation.

Rove and King wander off down the lawn with Rove's hand on Kings shoulder.

Admonishment for spilling the beans?

And who is this Peter King?
Newsday 10-23-2004
3RD CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
Lording over a political realm - Peter King is a proud product of the GOP machine who speaks his mind, making the terror fight his focus
BY J. JIONI PALMER. WASHINGTON BUREAU

WASHINGTON - Rep. Peter King (R-Seaford) is the privileged son of the once mighty Nassau County Republican Party. He wouldn't be in Congress if not for machine politics and party bosses. He knows it, and he says he isn't ashamed to admit it.

And what happened in his "realm" on Nov 2.
Nationally, four of the five counties with the biggest GOP gains, in raw votes, were those that make up Long Island. Kings (Brooklyn), Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties all went for Kerry, but his margin there was more than 250,000 votes short of Gore's in 2000.

Looks like he "took care of the counting" pretty good.

(Heads Up: The RNC parrots' talking point is alreadly out on this. Their squawk is the King was speaking about 2002. As if there's an OK time to admit election fraud and treason.)

It would be more crediable if there was a date somewhere, that would help! Clearly the idea of advance knowledge is important.
Has anyone forwarded this to Keith? Don't know if he would show it, but it does presume advanced knowledge.

40. Well, it's definitely BEFORE the election
This was taken from Pelosi's footage from her documentary on the campaign trail, so it is absolutely before the election. If you want an exact date, you'd probably need to contact Alexandra Pelosi.

36. I saw the whole documentary on HBO...
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 05:31 PM by pipes
To tell you the truth, I never really thought it to be anything big because all of these repubs are just arrogant asses.

Basically this thing chronicled the run up to the 2004 primaries...by the look of it, it was summer or early fall 2003 in DC as BU** was sweating like a football player in training camp. Everyone was partying around the WH lawn and having a good old time. Nancy Pelosi was also there and Bush was having a little fun with Alexandria's camera at one point.

Is there some sort of "party" that happens every year on the lawn at around this certain time? Seemed to me that everyone of importance to the regime was there as well as other notables like Pelosi...maybe we can find it...

I really would not run with this as a "red handed" thing because it really isn't. This is not the proof that we are looking for, although it might not be a bad thing for people to see.
