5. Remember Moore guaranteed a Bush win
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 09:54 PM by jmknapp
Don't worry, he said.

A Kerry win would have been good for Moore because it would somewhat absolve his sins of supporting Nadir in 2000, giving us Bush. Just think, if it wasn't for that, Bush never would have won his first term.

But we are back to square one, and the penalty for Nadir is now 8 years of Bush.

8. Funny....it has become obvious (to me) that his dress matched his
rhetoric and message last night - it was his little trick (imo). The message he was sending is that since he has now made some money, he is now one of them - the rich - receiving all the advantages of the wealthy (at the expense of the middle and lower). I believe it was a a clever game - he spoke calmly, his jokes weren't as funny, he was acquiescent about the vote outcome, he 'performed' as if he were a respectable republican. I think it was a pretty good performance.

9. Oh give it up on trashing Moore. He was the only one who came out and
visually attacked the BFEE....If he's mocking them by wearing a suit and getting a shave...it's good.

Michael Moore's job is not to recount votes or pander to us. He's done more than most...give the guy a break. x(

11. Yeah, no way in hell would Moore transform overnight
except as a way to confuse the hell out of the right. This is not a leopard changing his spots. It was a wolf in a red hood getting ready to spring on some unsuspecting sheep. :)

10. I really enjoy Michael Moore...

his books have a certain wit, and I laughed until I couldn't breathe during the "Coalition of the Willing" bit in F 911!

But honestly, the poor guy is soooo fashion-, fitness-, and hygiene-challenged.

15. Everything mainstream America hates
Out of their control. Not subject to their rules. Unafraid of their ridicule. Free to say what he believes.

Name me one physically fit, fashion conscious clean shaven talking head who can make the same claim.

20. No, don't get me wrong...

Michael Moore just wouldn't be the same if he sold out for superficial values - and I love him just the way he is. But another part of me kind of feels like I did watching Chris Farley - like I'm watching a brilliant flame of talent eating himself to death. Sorry for the bum-out, though. God knows we all self-medicate in our own way.

16. Michael Moore and Bill Clinton
Michael Moore almost single-handedly changes the entire debate this election, and this is what they talk about? How he looks?

I shouldn't be surprised.

When people interview Bill Clinton, who was ruler of the free world for 8 years, what do they ask about?

Monica.

Oooh, maybe when Bush Junior is out of office, we can all ask him about his dog Barney.
