Folks, the time is now to DEMONSTRATE!
Edited on Wed Dec-01-04 01:41 AM by tex-wyo-dem
In as large of numbers as we can get in as many places as possible! This is the only thing that will push the issue up to public awareness where it should be...the MSM sure as hell won't do it.

If Ukraine can do it, if Canada can do it, we sure as hell can do it!

And the time is right...the MSM has ignored long enough!

Edit: Make no mistake, large demonstrations would lend credibility to any Kerry/Edwards campain efforts.

4. I guarantee you...
if WE were able to mount a demonstration the size of that we saw in Ukraine the Rethugs would be crappy in their bloomers.

3. You are right.
But... well, it ain't going to happen. Not in america. Sorry to be such a downer...but I have been calling for major protest for three f'ing years. I talk, cajole, pray till I am blue in the face. Americans have a button that turns off just about 2 seconds after outrage reaches a boiling point..... depressing.

Personally, I am ready to join a revolution........may have to leave the country for THAT!

6. That's what's supposed to be taking place in Ohio on Saturday
The protest at the capitol, Columbus, starts at 1 p.m.

Also, if you live in a capitol help out to form the 51-capitol march.

http://www.51capitalmarch.com/ (they spelled it wrong, unfortunately, s/b capitOL--anyway)

10. Reposting information on Saturday in Ohio
Important:

Dec. 4, 1-4:00 at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus,
Ohio.

CASE is organizing a rally: "Investigate All 88"
"Revote Ohio or Death of Democracy - Choose one."

We hope to have out-of town as well as local
activists.

Wear all black to mourn the Death of Democracy.

Follow www.caseohio.org for further details.

I just got this in an email. I talked to Juliet Stewart from Ohio Recount and she told me Palast will be speaking and Jesse Jackson will be there although he will not be speaking. A thousand people are going to be bussed in from all over Pennsylvania. We need people to look into whether other states are doing this also. Our brothers and sisters in the Ukraine have shown us the way- please don't waste our momentum by sitting in your house on Saturday. We cannot sit by and watch our democracy die!!!!

11. Definitely. We need to rally people
to Ohio just like the Canadians did today:

Made me smile watching them protest his visit. :)
