What do you have to believe to "Move On"?
Edited on Wed Dec-01-04 10:44 AM by truehawk
1. You have to believe that this occured by accident

2. You believe that is nothing that you can do.

The illusion of helplessness on the part of the people is the most powerful weapon in the quiver of the opressors.

We have to be like water. We have to find a way.

3. You believe that you are tired and at the end of your strength and are burnt out.

You are here, so obviously your ancestors found the strength. You can too.

I would have to believe that:

BushCo isn't deliberately ruining the environment and poisoning our water and food for corporate profits.

BushCo isn't killing people worldwide for corporate profits.

BushCo isn't going out of their way to make the poor even poorer through tax policies and overtime rules to create a class of desperados willing to become his foot soldiers for a mythical war because it's the only way they can make ends meet.

BushCo isn't trying to make women into a slave class (denying access to both birth control AND abortions, while pushing to fire women who are pregnant).

BushCo isn't rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of the have-nones going without basic medical care, or becoming guinea pigs for their eugenics-inspired experiments.

I have a hunch I won't be Moving On for a while.

7. Good graphic.
It makes me as angry as anything I've seen, and no good citizen should move on from this issue.

( Some may have missed the ironic intent of your question.)

16. Here's the supporting spreadsheet
...for the voting problems map:

http://www.copperas.com/cuyahoga/cuyprobs.zip (zipped Excel file)

It has the precincts in the polling places that reported problems to voteprotect.org (1-866-OUR-VOTE). I only took the cases of long lines or machine problems.

19. You mean show voters per machine in each precinct?
But the page you refer to concerns Franklin County, not Cuyahoga. I don't have the machine counts for Cuyahoga (coming soon I hope).
