Walmart shares loose 2% after diappointing Nov Sales
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/12/01/business/01stox.html?ex=1102568400&en=4f047e7932a6c46a&ei=5006&partner=ALTAVISTA1

Stocks fell yesterday, dragged down by retailers like Wal-Mart Stores, after data indicated that the holiday shopping season got off to a sluggish start as high oil prices lowered confidence.

Shares of Wal-Mart lost 2 percent after the retailer signaled that it would cut prices in the weeks before Christmas. Wal-Mart had cut its forecast for November sales over the weekend and said sales last Friday - the day after Thanksgiving and one of the year's biggest for retailers - were disappointing.

"We've seen more of a pullback in retailing today; I think people are starting to question how strong the holiday really was," said Owen Fitzpatrick, head of the United States Equity Group, Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management.

1. imagine
if enough people dropped cable to force a 2% reduction, and told them it was because the left has nothing similar to faux

if enough people quit drinking Pepsi to force a 2% drop in sales because they only donate to repubs

if enough people quit buying stuff at Home Depot to force a 2% drop in sales because they only donate to repubs

If enough people quit using their jc penny charge cards to force a 2% drop in sales because they only donate to repubs

Imagine what would happen.......

5. Do You Think For A Second That
This has anything to do with them supporting Bush? I wasn't sure if that's what you were implying or not.

Though I'm on their side, any effect of those boycotting Walmart on the sales is probably microscopic in the Reality of their numbers.

6. you are probably correct in that it has more to do with
the economy (the new economy with low wages), however, I can dream, can't I, that it was due to a boosh boycott. :)

7. I love it, A.
Why can't we do this? 2% may not seem like that much, but it might be enough to jolt these companies into reality.

We are only shopping "Blue". We are taking this boycotting thing very seriously. I'm urging my entire clan to do the same.

Now as far as Walled-in Mart goes, we may get some help from the economy this Xmas. Lots of people are unemployed, and are hurting financially. They may just help us out this season.

2. I predict a "strong rebound" in December sales at Wal Mart
which will lead to a nice appreciation in the share price in January 05 -- of course this will be after the Wal Mart insiders scarf up as many of these artificially depressed shares as they can find.

I smell a major scam here.

8. Does anyone have a list
of major corporations that donate to republicans? I want to know who to boycott.
