Stop bashing nader over NH.
The Recount in NH was done specifically at OUR request. We went to him with the numbers and convinced him to do one for us. He was kind enough to oblige us. I can't use the search function here or i'd link the original thread, if its still around that discusses the topic.

could one of the mods find the original NH post and sticky and lock it so we can point to it and say here now stop complaining?

1. I will not stop 'bashing' Nader ...
and it has nothing to do with NH ....

It has EVERYTHING to do with his ocean sized ego ...

10. You keep saying "WE" ....
as if 'WE' are one homogenous group of people ....

we arent ....

Nader can piss up a fucking rope as far as Im concerned ....

I ask nothing of him: if he chooses to do something 'right', well good for him, but that doesnt change the fact that his ego is bigger than our need for safe and reasonable government ....

Nader, Cobb and Badnarik may all be willing to look into recounts in Ohio
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x26843

We all owe Nader a huge debt of gratitude, no matter what size his ego. Yes, it was "us," a few DUers and some Randi Rhodes listeners who got him involved. THAT, in turn, got Cobb and Badnerik involved. It also was the impetus/stimulus for hedda_foil and others to found the new Help America Recount 527, formed specifically to help fund the recounts, and do other things pretty darned important to saving our democracy.

Even the few Kerry lawyers who are involved now in Ohio can be traced directly back to IdaBriggs, hedda_foil and yes, Ralph Nader. ALSO the New Mexico and Nevada recounts which are being requested (as of this past Monday) are directly traceable right back to those original efforts, including Nader's.

Theres is also a LOT going on behind the scenes -- again, all of it thanks to those two energetic and committed DUers, the DUers who helped them, and RALPH NADER (plus, of course, Cobb and Badnerik).

Thanks for starting this thread. I'm no Nader fan myself (tho not for the reason so many DUers are not fans), but people here REALLY need to understand a little bit better what has gone on, and what is going on, and who was involved.

Most important of all: DUers did this!!! and I'm incredibly proud of them, and very grateful to them.

2. Nader had no impact on this election
but were it not for Nader, President Gore would be finishing his first term right now (and perhaps preparing for a second).

3. I never asked Nader to do any such thing.
If Nader had any intentions on helping the fraud he would of went after a state that Kerry didn't win.

12. Have YOU done anything helpful regarding fraud?
Got some free time? We could use the help over in recount land. Since I *personally* asked his campaign to help out, and posted about it SEVERAL TIMES, I'd like to join in on the "quit bashing Nader" thread. Go here to find out why I asked -- www.invisibleida.com or go read this thread -- http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=203&topic_id=20105 about how it started, or this one http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=203&topic_id=24757 about how it didn't look like it was going to happen, or there is another one somewhere about how Ralph Nader came through at 4:59 p.m.

You know, I had FIVE MINUTES of free time, and I end up responding to this type of nonsense....Sigh. :(

5. Nah.
Dubya would have found some other way to screw Gore out of it. He is unbeatable. Christ, we beat him twice, and he's still President.

13. NO bluestateguy, NADER DID NOT CAUSE GORE TO LOSS THE ELECTION
IN 2000. THAT ELECTION, ALONG WITH THIS ONE, WAS STOLEN BY BUSH AND HIS CRIME FAMILY. Don't blame Nader, blame the damn thieves in control of our country. And yes I voted for Gore and Kerry not Nader. But I do thank Nader for the NH recount.
