US Election: Electors to be Chosen Before Recount

http://narcosphere.narconews.com/story/2004/11/30/9330/7409

On November 22, a Federal district court judge denied a request by Green Party presidential candidate David Cobb and Libertarian candidate Michael Badnarik to expedite the Ohio recount. The judge said Cobb and Badnarik do not face "irreparable harm" if the recount doesn't take place until after the December 7 date to certify presidential electors, since they will not have any electors anyway.
The judge did not consider the irreparable harm faced by the world or the nation, and Cobb and Badnarik as citizens, should constitutional democracy be subverted a second presidential election in a row.

This information came from a Vote Cobb press release by Cobb/LaMarche Ohio Recount campaign manager Lynne Serpe and passed along by the No Stolen Elections (Nov3.us) network. Here are excerpts from that November 27 e-mail regarding the timeline of the Ohio recount, past and future.

2. There are two slates of electors that
have already been chosen, one set of Kerry electors and one set of Bush electors. If the vote is certified for Bush by the SOS, those Bush electors will cast there vote for Bush

3. Depends on the state. Often just wealthy people who donated a lot picked
by the State Chair. Sometimes they are selected by the Party State Committee. Others By the State's Delegates to the Party Convention. Although in MY state, supposedly the state Committee selects them and I can tell you, as a member of the State Committee , I know we didn't elect them because the first time I knew who they were was on the ballot and I didn't miss any meetings. Go figure.

4. How can we find out who they are? Does anyone know what
the procedure is for Texas? Or any resources for tracking the info down in states nationwide?

6. In Texas
they are elected by congressional committee at the state conventions.
