5. I can't help with hosting BUT...

I'd be happy to help design. I can't host another potentially high-traffic site on my server. I'm running my own site already (unrelated to elections/politics) that gets a lot of traffic and the colocation is donated to me, so I don't want to take advantage :)

I'd be happy to help design the look of the site though, as long as you have some HTML knowledge and want to maintain it. Again, my time is pretty limited, so I don't want to commit to maintaining content.

They do hosting pretty cheap, and the service is reliable. They use cpanel for administering the backend which is pretty nice, and from what I remember you get 1 chatroom, 2 sql databases (including setup for a bulletin board), 1 gig storage and 40 gig transfer for their "shuttle" package ($7.95 a month). I hosted a site with them last year and the setup was quick and they have good customer service.

I could chip in a bit.. maybe we could get a few people who could also chip in.
