It may be a longshot, but can anyone explain what is conceding, and how can you unconcede?

Conceding is simply acknowledging to your opposition that they won. Unconceding is taking that acknowledgment back.

....only has meaning in a public relations sense. If the votes end up favoring Kerry, he'd win despite conceding. Means nothing from a practical standpoint.
