Tonight's Smallville Episode

Did anyone watch the Smallville episode tonight? For this episode Lex Luthor was the preisdent and he was using a fake missle crisis to launch a missle strike. The episode made me think of the Bush Administration. How did other who watched the episode feel?

Lex is an evil but extremely competent leader. And he is counciled by one of the most brilliant, though malevolent, minds in the galaxy (Brainiac).
Also Lex is a brilliant and ruthless businessman.
None of that sounds like Bush.
Now the folks on Jericho are another story.
