Green Day
Who else LOVES Green Day? I DO! Great lyrics, great music, just great. I also happen to like the band from Glasglow Franz Ferdinand. Anyone else?

P.S. They both have been nominated for the same Granny nominations!

1. My son keeps me educated in these matters.
After hearing "American Idiot" and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"
I felt for the first time in eons. . . "the kids are alright."

Franz Ferdinand is really fun as well.

2. Love.. LOVE them both!
Green Day is a staple for punk rockers and Franz Ferdinand I think will be around for a long time, I hope so anyway I adore them. My favorite new band. :D

3. I love Green Day, too!
Even though I'm in my 30s and my son says I'm too old to be a punk rocker. :)

4. nah, I'm in my 40s
and I still pay attention to my old school punk roots. Go for it, say I. (Maybe you are never too old to be a punk rocker.) ;)

6. First time exposed
to Green Day (in their first video) I thought, "Jeez, what happened to Joe Strummer? He lose a few years and get his teeth fixed." Course I didn't have my glasses on. Anyone else see the resemblance?
