I would never say it to someone I didn't, in one way or another, know for sure is a Christian.

It's just rude, that. It smacks of Christian triumphalism of the worst sort that, in my opinion, Jesus would never countenance. I think he'd say "Okay, that's fine - you believe I've risen, that's good - but why say it? Why didn't you feed that person? Or give them drink? Or encounter them like a human being with dignity and needs?"

And speaking of Zombie Jesus, have you seen the movie "Jesus Christ, Vampire Slayer"?

I posted a black humour cartoon - which again, was sent to me by a christian originally - in order to illustrate how Sid's response in that other thread was polite and respectful.

And, like you said, the cartoon itself is not an insult.

How pathetic to see someone get into a such a snit over perceived slights with so much real persecution going on in the world.

My stalker has sent me two nasty pms and apparently declared a DU Jihad in this forum against me now. He's made this personal but I understand how people with anger management issues tend to overreact and focus their rage on one person.



We need more examples of good christians like him here, it will save us the trouble of posting about ones outside of DU. ;)
