The fundies were, unbelievably, correct |
|
They DIDN'T evolve. They're still mentally and physically--and intellectually--unevolved from the 1st century C.E., while everyone else has gone forward 2 millennia. So technically they should not be argued with about this matter. It's difficult for them to wrap their smaller and less evolved brains about concepts which are foreign to them.
On the other hand, this devolution is contagious--we must find a cure for those who catch this viral infection unwittingly and return them to a higher state of health. It IS quite difficult in some cases, but they are often our loved ones who are susceptible to it, and I certainly would prefer those folks right in the head if possible.
