Dutch Christian naturists forced to cancel naked mass
A church service for Dutch Christian naturists has been cancelled this weekend after hostile reactions from other, more conventional, worshippers.
By Bruno Waterfield in Brussels
29 Sep 2008

Naked celebrants abandoned plans to hold a second service after media coverage of their first mass, held in a nudist park during the summer, led to a flood of threatening phone calls and emails from more orthodox Christians.

"I don't understand what all the fuss is about," said a spokesman for the Gan Eden or Garden of Eden group.

"We are just a group of Christians and we want to hold a church service."

The Dutch naturist Christians, part of a global movement, held their first service in June, when a clothed priest presided over a nude congregation of 80 people in Zeewolde, a town in the Flevoland region of the Netherlands.

5. Why did the priest remain clothed?
Couldn't they find a priest who likes getting naked?

Colo. priest charged for jogging naked
The Associated Press

12/24/2007 09:12:48 AM MST

FREDERICK, Colo.—A Catholic priest faces an indecent exposure charge after police said he went jogging in the nude about an hour before sunrise.

The Rev. Robert Whipkey told officers he had been running naked at a high school track and didn't think anyone would be around at that time of day, a police report said.

He told officers he sweats profusely if he wears clothing while jogging. "I know what I did was wrong," he said in the report.

7. One would imagine naked bodies
would hold no surprises for the big guy who supposedly created us that way. Kind of tough to imagine Yahweh being all that worried or offended by the view of his own handiwork.

10. I don't think I would attend. My wife says I don't look good naked anymore.
I looked in the mirror and had to agree.
