Evangelical Leaders Praise Fidel and Raúl as Examples

Participants in a conference, marking the 80th anniversary of the First Hispanic-American Protestant Congress, praised the leader of the Cuba Revolution Fidel Castro as an example to be followed.
A letter was read at the meeting’s closing session, in which the religious leaders pointed to Fidel’s integrity and honesty, his love for his people and those of Latin America and the Caribbean that he has demonstrated fully throughout his entire life with the promotion and implementation of countless programs for the benefit of the Cuban and other regional peoples, particularly in the areas of health and education.
