People felt helpless and wanted to do something about the oil spill
so they decided to have a circle prayer on the beach.

'God is bigger than this oil spill'

The Rev. Jack Kale of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church leads a prayer circle along the shoreline at Pensacola Beach Sunday evening as the massive oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico looks like an ever increasing threat to the beaches along Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

6. So now that they've prayed...
If oil doesn't make it to the beach, God heard their prayers!

If oil does make it to the beach, they didn't pray hard enough!

God wins no matter what!

12. I thought that their god was quantum.
That's quite a bit smaller than the oil spill.

Prediction: some believer will not be directly affected by the spill and will praise God for finding them far more deserving of "grace" than everyone else whose lives were devastated.
