2. I am a recovering Catholic... |
|
that said, why, OH WHY, do the folks in this forum feel the need to dismiss, degrade, insult, and diminish?
I appreciate the information, don't agree with it; however, thank you for posting another point of view.

4. Well, then why call yourself a "recovering" Catholic? |
|
Sure makes those who call themselves Catholic feel, well, diminished?

5. maybe because we're tired of having it shoved down our throats? |
|
If it were posted in the religion forum, I would have left the thread alone. But no, here it is in GD so people like you can come and whine and complain that someone is attacking your religion. If you keep your religion where it belongs (between you and your god), you'll never hear me say a demeaning word about it. But when you bring it out for all the world to see.. then let the demeaning begin.

7. The website in question isn't for recovering Catholics |
|
It is for "Born Agains" to evangelize to Catholics.

11. You forgot that sarcasm thingy. |

Because I can't believe anyone who knows anything about the Christian sects can get through the first paragraph and not know this is a born again, fundy group trying to recruit.
