1. What a beautiful version of this hymn. Thank you for posting.

Back when I was a church soloist, I sang this often. Far more many verses here than I used, but I do recall the line (not in this version), "Oh Sacred Head what glory, what bliss til now was thine, Yet though despised and gory, I joy to call thee mine."

I've wandered far away from my strict Baptist upbringing, but these words along with Bach's music still stir me and bring tears to my eyes. Thank you for doing that.
