Does anyone here read PARABOLA? |
|
Published quarterly by The Society for the Study of Myth and Tradition. Each issue has a theme. The summer issue's theme is GIVING AND RECEIVING.
There are articles and poems from many different religious traditions. It is the only magazine I have seen that really includes all the major religions.
Christianity, Native American traditions, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Rumi, Australian Aboriginal, Sufism, Buddhism, and others.
They usually throw in something from Gurdjieff's work because one of their editors, now deceased, was the head of the Gurdjieff organization after his death, named Jeanne de Salzmann.

2. Read it years ago and always enjoyed it |

But I haven't seen a copy in quite some time.
It was smart and thought-provoking, intellectually stimulating.

I never read it.
ETA - "read" meaning past tense. I would read a copy if I found one today.
