Christmas Greetings
Edited on Fri Dec-24-04 07:44 PM by Lydia Leftcoast
To all who celebrate, I wish the best of Christmases (or Solstice, or whatever you celebrate at this time of year) and a New and Improved 2005!

Technically it's still Advent, but in a few hours, I'll be heading out to sing at my church's midnight service.

Tomorrow, after singing at the morning service (with the help of much :donut: ), I'll come home, make up gift bags for everyone, bake some Latvian bacon rolls (my assignment for dinner this year), and head off to my youngest brothers for the family celebration.

How about you?

2. Our director is English, so we do a lot from that repertoire
Tonight's choir anthems are The Seven Joys of Mary, Lullaby my Jesus, and What is This Sweet Fragrance?

Tomorrow we're singing On Christmas Night All Christians Sing and John Rutter's Nativity Carol.

I won't know what the congregation will be singing until I get there.

3. Joyous Christmas to You.
Edited on Fri Dec-24-04 08:49 PM by puddycat
I just returned from a candlelight service, and will now proceed to wrap gifts for tomorrow, LOL. But first, I am pondering which Christmas movie to play: A Christmas Carol, Its A Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, The Santa Clause, Little Women (Susan Sarandon as Marmee), or How The Grinch Stole Christmas!

Hmmmmm....choices, choices
Of course in the background, Christmas music is playing on the radio.

Life is wonderful. At least for tonight.

Blessings to everyone.
