5,000 devout Christians march for Zionism in Jerusalem
More than 5,000 evangelical Christians, including believers from as far afield as Congo and New Zealand, marched through Jerusalem yesterday to voice their support for Zionism and the state of Israel.

"I am here to show my love and support for the people of Israel," explained Mpoy Muambi, a pastor from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Earlier this year, the Vatican's envoy in the Holy Land and bishops from three other churches launched a rare attack on the Christian Zionist movement, accusing it of promoting "racial exclusivity and perpetual war."

"The Christian Zionist program provides a world view where the Gospel is identified with the ideology of empire, colonialism and militarism," a declaration read.

1. So-called "Christian Zionists" want to kill all the Jews
They're just fattening-up Israel for the slaughter-- a sacrifice on the Altar of The Apocalypse.

8. Thank you!
They seem to think we don't know the plan is for us to accept their Messiah so he'll feel better, wipe his tears and come back. Jewish mass acceptance of Christ is, um, one of the boxes that has to be ticked before old blondie returns to redeem his fold.

Of course, if we fail to do this, it's off to the ovens again.

I had to put up with crowds of them clapping and waving signs at the J-Center in Albuquerque a couple months ago during our Support Israel rally. It looked like a visit from the Tinfoil Hat Central convention in Roswell NM down the road. Overfed, fat sunburned people in blinding white, tight t-shirts covered in slogans like "Accept the Lamb", or "When the Rapture comes, this shirt will be empty", holding signs saying WE LUV U ISREAL, and cheering between every sentence the Israeli Ambassador, who was giving a speech, uttered. They walked up to us saying, "We support what you're doing in Lebanon. The Palestinians need to be extinguished", and I and several other Jews in attendance were embarrassed. Um, lots of US were AGAINST Eretz Israel's actions against Lebanon, especially their severity against innocents and children. It was a touchy, uncomfortable issue, none of us was exactly happy that day, and here were these loonies acting positively jubilant about it. Waving hand-painted signs. One was being held upside-down. Its owner, holding it, never came to that conclusion during the entire lonnnnggg length of the SI rally. I sighed and sang hatikvah with the crowd, and noticed of course that the Christians didn't know the lyrics.

Jews, Identify... The Rapture Begins.

Rapture! Rapture!

We're coming, Jesus! We're coming!

Logan's Run (1976 film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Logan's Run is a 1976 science fiction film based on the novel of the same name by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. It depicts a dystopian future society in which population and the consumption of resources is managed and maintained in equilibrium by the simple expediency of killing everyone who reaches a particular age, thus neatly (and inhumanely) avoiding the issue of overpopulation which was of growing concern at the time. The story follows the actions of Logan, a "Sandman", as he "runs" from society's lethal demand.

The 1976 film version, directed by Michael Anderson and starring Michael York, Richard Jordan, and Jenny Agutter, was shot primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (including locations such as the Fort Worth Water Gardens and the Dallas Market Center), and is largely faithful to the initial parts of the book, while deviating markedly in its latter half.

The film won a Academy Award for Special Achievement for its visual effects, and was nominated for two other Oscars. It received the Saturn Award for Best Science Fiction Film, and was nominated to receive a Nebula Award for Best Script.

Since 1994, a remake of the film has been in development hell.

2. IMPORTANT TO NOTE THESIXTH PARAGRAPH

"Those joining yesterday's march, the 27th pilgrimage of its kind, dismissed these accusations, adding that Israel needs their help all the more following its recent war in Lebanon."

6. Really, really scary. I think someone said something about
opimum once upon a time? (Or was it opiate?)

"The Christian Zionist program provides a world view where the Gospel is identified with the ideology of empire, colonialism and militarism," a declaration read.

Christian
Gospel
Empire
Colonialism
Militarism

At least they admit what their agenda is all about.

Some hypocrits keep saying theu support democracies.

How to be turned off in a repulsive way in one short article. Thanks for posting. Sincerely. Know the enemy. Yes, opium/opiate.

11. Correct headline should be: 5,000 Christian fundamentalists
They don't own a monopoly on being "devout" or in "piety," in fact, their actions indicate that they support principles that have been condemned by every Biblical author and prophet that spoke up against injustice.

The crazies are hijacking the three major monotheistic religions and turning them into cesspools of intolerance and hatred.
