Unlikely couple forms gay, lesbian support group
By Felicia Megdal, Roundup staff reporter
Saturday, November 18, 2006

... The couple ended up walking down this unlikely path after witnessing the mistreatment of ... their pastor ...

"The day he came out, he did it in front of the congregation," Linda said. "He was crying and everybody seemed to be so supportive."

And though the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) ruled that gays and lesbians -- as long as they remain chaste and single -- could serve as ordained pastors, not everyone wanted a gay man leading the local synod.

3. What do you mean?
A theory, in science, is a set of principles that explains observed phenomena. Evolution, along with electromagnetism, gravity, and relativity is one of the most highly accepted theories in science.

I'm assuming that any argument we might have here is over the use of the word "theory" rather than whether the theory of evolution is the best explanation for the existence of species. If you are arguing that evolution is a fact, then we have no difference other than how words are used.

4. I think we agree.
I was making a glib comment on some people's stubborn refusal to enlightenment or progress.
