My church is calling a new pastor
I was wondering if anyone knows of a clearing house or magazine where we could run an ad seeking a pastor who would be open to diversity of all sorts. This is a Disciples church.

3. Doesn't your denomination have an established procedure?
Or a magazine?

The Episcopalians use a national registry to match churches seeking new clergy with a list of clergy meeting their requirements, but I have also seen advertisements in Episcopal publications for specialized positions, such as when an English-speaking parish overseas (like the one in Tokyo or Taipei) is looking for a new priest.

The Lutherans also have an established procedure, although it may have changed since the merger.

I'm surprised that the Disciples don't.

4. Your denomination office is the first stop. Then Christian Century -
they have a fair amount of adverts from churches that are searching.

The UCC News also has classifieds (or just buy ad space), including for churches searching.

That's all I can think of right now.
